

Once you have packed for your personal beach needs, head down to the Ocean Street beach access (a ten minute walk from the house). Keys to the beach storage boxes and beach tags can be found in the kitchen island drawer.

These tags are required for Cape May beach access for persons ages 12 and older (children ages 11 and under are free) as well as the use of a variety of beach amenities. **In an effort to simplify your beach days while staying at the Duke of Windsor, we are happy to provide 12 beach tags for Ocean Street beach. Arrangements can be made directly with Linen Ladies. * Tenants have the option of bringing their own linens, or using the Duke of Windsor linen rental (including towels) from Linen Ladies. The Duke of Windsor is a short walk to the beach and all that Cape May has to offer. Situated in the heart of town on tree-lined Washington Street, the ambiance of the town comes alive in this spectacular setting. We feel a cup of coffee and a bottle of cheer is a good way to start off any vacation! We love our tenants and welcome each guest with a gourmet gift basket and Starbucks coffee station complete with sugar options and creamers. The Duke of Windsor comfortably sleeps up to 25 guests. Offering seven bedrooms, each with a marble en-suite bathroom, central AC, flat screen TVs, WiFi, two gas fireplaces, multiple gathering spaces, formal dining room, incredible bunk room, spacious front porch, comfy living spaces for relaxing - some large for gathering and some small for quiet times - along with multiple porches for enjoying the sea air and al fresco dining. The Victorian masterpiece features an open concept floor plan with gourmet kitchen decked out with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two sinks, and breakfast nook. The Duke of Windsor, originally built in 1896, has been totally renovated from the studs out and immaculately restored with all the amenities demanded by the modern traveler.
